Tips for Your Outdoor Furniture

The weather has been pretty nice to us so far but Mother Nature is about to start throwing snowballs our way. As fun as that sounds it definitely leaves homeowners with a lot of work to do to keep outdoor furniture safe and clean all winter long.
As you know we have a full service warehouse waiting for all your amazing and valuable outdoor furniture but in the case you only have a few items here are a few tips to help you through the winter months.

Types of Patio Furniture

Wicker: Leaving furniture made with wicker material outside during the winter is a major no no. Wicker will most likely expand and contract with the snow, which will cause it to break.

Fabric Materials: You probably already know with this one… Fabric materials should always be brought in when it comes to water and freezing. They are quite delicate and weak when it comes to harsh weather.

Aluminum: This is the awesome when it comes to being tough in the winter. Furniture made with aluminum is the toughest of tough for patio furniture. Aluminum furniture can be left out all year round. If you are looking for furniture with the least amount of maintenance this is the way to go.

Steel: Steel-framed furniture won’t be able to handle the cold weather. Water and ice will cause it to rust or crack which leads to more issues that you will want to deal with. Make sure to take it inside before it gets damaged.
